The Comité sur les avantages sociaux de l’industrie de la construction – CASIC (Construction Industry Benefits Committee), which brings together employer and union associations in the industry, have passed amendments that will affect all plans offered by MÉDIC Construction as of January 1, 2020.
At the end of October, participants will receive a letter explaining the amendments.
The most important amendments are related to the following:
- Prescribed drugs: generic substitution mandatory and biosimilar drugs at the lowest price
- Over-the-counter drugs
- Injectable products for arthritis
- Test strips for diabetes
- Orthopedic shoes
